Our landscaper profile this month takes us to Perth Western Australia, where we meet landscape architect Tristan Peirce.
This project attracted our attention with this magnificent above ground pool and the complimenting sea of greenery that truly makes this a special project.
ABOUT TRISTAN PEIRCE
Tristan Peirce Landscape Architecture, located in Perth Western Australia, has over 20 years of experience in a range of Architecture industries. Tristan originally worked as a design consultant before moving into design construction and leading the design department at Tim Davies Landscaping for 11 years. Having been established a year and half ago, Tristan Peirce Landscape Architecture specialises in residential design targeted towards people looking for high-calibre design and aesthetic. .

His designs are targeted towards customers seeking the highest-quality product, someone who is after something different and unique. Each design is carefully created and adapted to the client’s needs and what they want to see in their landscape/garden/pool, layered with his expertise. Additionally, every project is adapted to reflect the client’s personalities and style of the house, while tailoring it for how they want to live.
THE PROJECT
This project in Western Australia was designed around life, and children. The clients live in an attached house with a small backyard, and regularly use front yard as an entertaining area. With a large space at the front of the house Tristan decided to create a functional and usable space for the clients to enjoy. His first choice was to install a pool at the front of the house for them to relax in. He opted to create a land moat by lowering the ground around the pool and creating an access point from the porch. The pool was made using an innovative product called micro cement, which gives it a smooth render. The white pool tiles accentuate the contrasting landscape and make the pool the “hero” of this outdoor space.
